MeloKey

MeloKey is coming soon to the App Store. Once you have it:

Add the keyboard

Open Settings, then General, Keyboard, Keyboards, Add New Keyboard, and choose MeloKey. In any app, hold the globe key and pick MeloKey.

The keys make no sound

• In Settings, General, Keyboard, Keyboards, tap MeloKey and turn on Allow Full Access. iOS does not let a keyboard play sound without it. Nothing you type is collected.
• Turn the volume up.

Share a melody as a link

In the keyboard, use Insert link to put a melody into your message. Anyone who taps the link hears it in their browser, even without MeloKey, and people who have MeloKey can open it in the app. From the app, songs and Studio ideas can be shared as links too.

The music is written into the link itself, so it is never stored on our servers.

A link doesn’t play

• If the page says the link doesn’t hold a melody, it was probably cut short when it was copied. Ask for it to be sent again.
• If the player shows the notes but you hear nothing, check your phone’s silent switch and volume, then tap Play again.

Keep your songs safe

Your songs are stored on your iPhone. In the app’s Setup tab you can save all your songs and songbooks in one file, as a backup you keep wherever you like.

Invoicing

I can’t sign in

Invoicing is open by invitation. Sign in with the Google account whose email address was invited. If it says the account does not have access, ask the owner of your business in Invoicing to add your address, or write to us.

Getting access for your business

Write to info@odisal.com with your business name and the email address you want to sign in with.

Taking your data with you

From the menu at the top of the app you can download a backup, or export your invoices to a spreadsheet at any time.
