Odisal is a trading name of Vita Media Productions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14892076). When this policy says “we”, it means that company.
For any question or request about your data, write to info@odisal.com.
odisal.com is a set of plain pages. It sets no cookies for visitors, runs no analytics or tracking, and loads its fonts, images and scripts from our own server, so no other company is told that you visited.
Like every website, the server that hosts it keeps a standard log of requests (IP address, browser type, the page asked for and the time). We use it only to keep the site running and secure, and it is deleted on the host’s normal schedule.
Most buttons on this site open an email to us. If you write, we keep your message and address for as long as it takes to deal with it, and for our records afterwards.
If you ask to be told when MeloKey launches, we keep your email address and the date you asked, on this website’s server. We use it once, to tell you about the launch, and then delete it. It is never added to a mailing list, shared or used for anything else. To be removed sooner, write to us.
MeloKey is a keyboard and app for iPhone. In short: it collects nothing, and nothing leaves your iPhone unless you choose to share it. It has no account, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it makes no connection to the internet. We never see your songs, recordings or anything you type.
iOS only lets a keyboard play sound when “Allow Full Access” is on, so MeloKey asks for it to play its piano.
You can turn any of these off in Settings at any time.
Songs, songbooks, Studio ideas and voice recordings are saved inside MeloKey on your iPhone. They are included in your iPhone’s own backups (iCloud or your computer) if you have those turned on; those backups are handled by Apple, not by us. Deleting the app deletes them.
When you share a song, a recording or a PDF, it goes only where you send it (Messages, WhatsApp, Mail and so on), through the iPhone’s own share sheet.
If you share a melody as a link, the notes are written into the link itself, after a # sign. The link opens a player at melokey.odisal.com that plays the melody in the browser. Browsers never send the part after the # to a website, so the melody never reaches our server, and the player stores nothing.
If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone’s settings, Apple may give us anonymous crash and usage figures. They do not identify you.
MeloKey collects no information from anyone, children included.
Invoicing is a web app that businesses use to make and track their invoices. There are two kinds of data in it, and we have a different role for each.
The app sets one cookie, to keep you signed in. It lasts seven days or until you sign out, and is strictly necessary. There is no tracking, advertising or profiling, and the app sends no marketing email.
Each business’s data is kept in its own separate database, and access is by invitation only. Backups are taken every night and kept for a limited time, so something deleted can remain in a backup for up to about a month before it ages out.
The app has its own fuller privacy notice, linked from its sign-in page.

We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it.
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how it is used, or to receive it in a portable form. Write to info@odisal.com and we will reply within one month.
If your request is about the contents of a business’s invoices, we will pass it to that business, because the decision is theirs.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first, so we can put it right.
Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so here and change the date at the top. Businesses using Invoicing will be told directly.
